In Morocco you can find waves at any time of the year. Main season is in winter time, approximately from September until April, so the waves usually get bigger during that time. But here around Taghazout, we are at one of the locations with the most consistent waves throughout the whole year, so also in summer time we have waves, mostly clean and easy ones, which are perfect for longboarding, for example!

Since we have over 20 surf spots along the coast, which work differently at different conditions, there will always be a good spot to surf. In our daily surf trips and surf packages, the transfer to the best surf spot of the day is always included, so you can be sure to catch the best waves every day, no matter at what time of the year you’ll come to our surf camp!

It rarely happens that the conditions are not surfable at all. This happens only on very few days per year. In case it happens on one of your surf days, we do an alternative program instead of the surf trip on that day, such as a day trip to Paradise Valley, where you can swim and cliff jump in the Atlas mountain lakes, or we visit the traditional market in Agadir, or some other trip or activity. However, this does not happen often, and it has never happened on more days in a row. We make sure that you get the most out of your surf camp stay!

Along the coast in and around Taghazout, there are more than 20 surf spots.

We are located approximately 200 meters from Taghazout Beach. Panorama beach break is a 10 minutes walk, and famous Anchor point is a 15 - 20 minutes walk, where you can watch pro surfers practicing or even competing at some WSL competitions every year.

Since every surf spot works differently at different conditions, we recommend to inform yourself very well about the surf spots, the tides and the conditions before going to surf on your own. In our surf camp, we include the transfer to the best working surf spot every day, in order to make sure that our guests will get the most out of the waves during their surf camp stay.

The type of board that you will use during your surf trip, depends on your level and the current wave conditions. We can provide all kinds of boards (foamies, hard boards in different sizes and shapes, and also hard-softs). We might also change your board during your stay, depending on the surf conditions, the surf spot, and your progress. If you wanna change surf board during your stay, you can tell our surf coaches to change it for you for the next surf day.

The surf equipment (board, wetsuit, leash) is included during the time of the Surf Day Trips (Surf Coaching or Surf Guiding), which include usually more or less 4 - 5 hours of surfing per day. If you still wanna go surfing after these trip, you can rent a board additionally daywise.

Every Surf Coaching Trip includes a 2-hour surf lesson on your individual surf level. The second part of the day trip is a free surf session without instruction.

If you book a week package with us (like the Surf Coaching Package or the Surf & Yoga Package) for example for 7 nights, you will have 4 Surf Coaching Day Trips included, each one including a 2-hour surf lesson, plus one day you’ll have the surf day trip to Imssouane, which also includes a 2-hour surf instruction.

(You can also book our surf packages for less or more than 7 nights, then there are less / more surf trips included accordingly. Just request your dates in our booking form as they fit best for you!)

The exact times always depend on the wave conditions, on the weather (like wind or rain) and of course the ocean tides. Our certified surf coaches check the wave and weather forecast every evening and then set the program for the next surf day. That’s why it is important that you are flexible for the sake of the best waves!

Usually, if the tides and wave conditions allow, we leave after breakfast (between 9:00 and 11:00), and stay at the surf spot for approximately 4 - 6 hours, with a lunch break in between. (The lunch is included, and is cooked freshly every morning by our kitchen team.)

In some rare cases, the tides, weather and / or wave conditions might not work during the day, so that the surf trip will be at a completely different time, for example at around 6:00 - 7:00 in the morning for a sunrise surf, or between 13:00 and 16:00 for a afternoon / sunset session.

We drive you to the best working surf spot every day. We have more than 20 surf spots along the coast around Taghazout. Depending on the actual wave conditions, our experienced surf coaches decide every morning which of the spots will be the best for getting the most out of the waves! The transfer to the best spot of the day and back to our surf camp is always included in the surf trips.

If you book a surf package of at least 7 nights with us, you will also join us on a surf trip to the longest wave of North Africa, which is located in Imssouane (around 1,5 hours drive).

To guarantee that we can provide everything that you book in your package, we always leave one day free of surfing. This is for the case of bad wave conditions or due to the program of other guests. In case we are not able to offer surfing on one of your days, then that would be your free day (or you can join an alternative trip).

If we can offer surf trips everyday throughout your stay, you can add an additional surf trip for your last day for 35€ p.p.!

Basically you can choose any of our surf packages. All our packages are suitable for all surf levels: advanced, intermediate and beginner level, and even if you never surfed before. Our surf coaches split up the group at the beach into different small level groups every day, so everyone can start surfing on his / her level.

The main difference between our packages are the activities and day trips that are included. All our surf packages include transfers from the airport Agadir (or city center /bus station Agadir), shared accommodation, breakfasts, dinners, bedsheets and linen, free WiFi. All packages include the same amount of surf trips, and the epic surf day trip to Imssouane with fresh fish barbecue and sandboarding, however only if you book a minimum of 7 nights! On top of that, each package includes certain activities & trips (or you can choose the Surf Coaching Package and add your favourite trips or activities!)

• Our Surf & Yoga Package includes 5 professional Yoga classes

• And our Surf & Travel Package includes a day trip to Paradise Valley, an excursion to the Souk (big market in Agadir) and an activity to choose, either Quad riding or Camel riding.

The packages that you find on our website, are made for one week / 7 nights, however you can book any package starting from 4 nights and up to much more, just as it fits best for you! Just proceed to booking and you will find availability, prices and additional options to add to your package!

Yes, arrival and departure dates are totally flexible, everyone can arrive and depart on the day that fits best for him / her. The minimum stay is 4 nights. You can check our availability on our booking page for each room type and package: BOOKING

If you book a surf package for 7 nights, you will have 4 Surf Coaching Day Trips included, each one including a 2-hour surf lesson on your level, plus a free surf session in the afternoon without instruction. Plus on another day you’ll have the surf day trip to Imssouane, which also includes a 2-hour surf lesson.

If you book one of our surf packages for less or more than 7 nights, then there are less / more surf lessons included accordingly.

Please note that do to our organization and wave conditions, the Imssouane surf trip is only included for packages with 7 nights or more!

Important to know is that we always keep one free day of surfing in your package. That’s due to our program and / or the wave conditions. In case we can’t offer a surf trip on one of the days, then this will be your free day. Mostly we offer alternative trips that you can add if you like (for example Paradise Valley trip). If we offer surf trips every day, then you can choose to add an additional surf trip for your free last day.

• Surf Coaching Package: it’s the basic package, you can add your favourite trips and activities to it!

• Our Summer Surf Package (from May to August) does NOT include the Imssouane day trip, but you can add it once you are here (depending on a minimum number of persons and good wave conditions). This package also includes either a Souk excursion or a 1,5h Surfskate lesson.

Once you proceed to our booking page, you will find all our package offers and room types. For each room type you can see availability and prices, and add the dates for your package to your cart. Once you chose dates, you can also add extras (trips and activities).

Once you proceed to your cart and confirm your choices, please find an email confirmation with all the important details for making the 25% deposit payment for confirming your booking! At the moment, this option is via PayPal. If Paypal doesn’t work for you, just let us know and we will send you an alternative payment option.

Once we received your 25% deposit payment, you will receive a booking confirmation email.

The outstanding 75% of the payment total will be payable in cash on arrival (Euros or Moroccan Dirhams to current exchange rate).

This is how you can add extras (trips or activities) to your package:

5. Now, all extras (trips / activities) will appear to add them to your package. Please choose always one per person. Once you add trips and activities, you will see that the price will sum up directly to the total.

6. Once you confirm by adding it to your booking, you will find all your selected items in your shopping cart.

No, it is not a confirmed booking yet. Once you sent your booking via our online store, you will immediately receive a email with details about the deposit payment. Once you made the 25% deposit payment, you will receive a booking confirmation, then your booking is confirmed.

Yes, you will have to make a deposit payment of 25% of the total amount of your booking.

At the moment, the deposit payment is to be paid via PayPal. If that is not possible for you, please contact us and we can send you an alternative payment option.

The outstanding 75% of the total will be payable in cash on arrival (in Euros or in Moroccan Dirhams to current exchange rate).

Once you sent your booking, you will receive an email with all your booking details and a link to make a 25% deposit payment via PayPal for confirming your booking.

All our surf packages include transfers from and to Agadir Airport (Agadir Al Massira Airport AGA). But we do flexible transfers, we can pick you up and drop you off where it’s best for you:

• Agadir bus station (gare routière, CTM / Supratours station)

• Any hotel or place in Agadir (you can send us a google maps link where to pick you up)

• Marrakech airport (against additional fees, usually it is profitable for you starting from 2 persons.)

Yes, we do transfers at any time, 24 hours per day. depending on your flights or bus times. During the booking process, we will ask you for your flight information, and then we’ll coordinate your pick up / drop off accordingly. Normally we pick you up exactly at your arrival time, without any waiting times for you. Just in some very rare cases, it might be necessary that you have to wait at the airport, in case we put two flight arrivals together, however you will never have to wait more than 30 - 40 minutes, and in the case of waiting time we would inform you in advance.

Our driver will be waiting for you at the exit of the airport with a “Surf & Travel Camp” sign. If you arrive by CTM or Supratours bus, our driver will be waiting at the bus terminal, gare routière Agadir, directly where your bus stops.

In case you don’t find the driver, give him a few more minutes to find you exactly where you got out of the bus or the airport.

In the main building of our surf camp, we have the following room types available, all of which have shared bathrooms and shared showers.

• beds in a shared 3-bed room

• private double room (with one double bed)

• private twin room (two single beds)

• private single room

Additionally, we have two small apartments with private bathrooms, little kitchen and fridge, each one for two persons:

• private double apartment (bedroom with a double bed)

• private twin apartment (bedroom with two single beds)

It is not a typical “all-inclusive” holiday. For example, we only include a certain amount of surf trips or dinners, depending on how long you stay. For example, lunch is only included during the surf trips. So if you have one day without a surf trip, you won’t have lunch with us on that day. Also the surf equipment is only included during the time of the surf trips, not on the other free surf days. However you can still rent a surf board on these days. Also, we usually include one dinner less than evenings, because we don’t know your exact arrival time in advance. If you arrive early enough, you will join the dinner on your first evening. Then on your last evening, you can add another dinner or eat in a restaurant. If you don’t arrive early enough on your first night, you still have enough evenings for having all your booked dinners with us.

Yes, there are different prices.

The basic prices for all the packages is always for accommodation in a shared 3-bed room.

If you prefer private rooms, we have the following extra fees per person per night:

• Private single room with shared bathrooms: 6€ p.p. / night

• Private double or twin room with shared bathrooms (occupancy 2 persons): 6€ p.p. / night

• Private double or twin room with shared bathrooms (occupancy 1 person): 12€ p.p. / night

• Private double or twin apartment with private bathroom (occupancy 2 persons): 12€ p.p. / night

• Private double or twin apartment with private bathroom (occupancy 1 person): 24€ p.p. / night

If you want to see the exact price for your dates and your room choice, please fill in our booking form, then we’ll send you an offer with all details and the exact price, then you can decide if you wanna book our offer or not.

We serve traditional Moroccan food, everything is freshly cooked by our kitchen team every day. It consists mainly in fresh vegetables, meat, chicken, fish, and different side dishes, like rice, pasta, salads…

If you choose the vegetarian option, our kitchen team prepares special Moroccan meals with a touch of the Italian cuisine.

For the packed lunch, we have different meals, for example sandwiches, pasta, salads, rice dishes, etc… Breakfast consists in fresh fruits, jam, honey, traditional peanut butter (amlou), coffe, tea, and on some days fried egg, on the other day oats with nuts, raisins and dates.

Yes, during your booking process, we will ask you if you prefer the regular, vegetarian, or pescatarian option for your stay.

If you are intolerant for a special kind of food, please make sure to inform us already during your booking process, then we can check with our kitchen team and let you know how we can deal with it.

If you are interested in an activity or trip which is not listed on our page, let us know, and we’ll check if we can organize it for you!

For our activities (like Surfskating, Camel riding, Quad riding, Souk), there’s no minimum number of persons, you can simply add it to your package by filling in our booking form, even if you book only for yourself.

For the city day trips to Essaouira or Marrakech, we require a minimum of 2 persons.

In general, that depends on the length of your stay.

Our trips (Paradise Valley, Marrakech, Essaouira) are always organized as day trips, so they can’t be combined with surfing on the same day.

Our activities (Yoga, Souk excursion, Quad riding, Surfskate lesson, Camel riding, Horse riding) can happen on the same day with a surf trip, they will take place either before or after surfing (usually around sunset time).

For a one-week package, we can manage maximum one additional trip and one activity per full day. (It is not possible to do more than one activity per day since they usually take place at the same time.)

The prices depend on your group size. Once you proceed to booking and choose your package and dates, you will see all the possible extras for your package, with the price.

The prices of our trips are between 35€ and 65€ per person, depending on which trip and how many persons you book for.

Our activities cost between 10€ and 35€ per person.

We have all kinds of hard boards in our surf shop for rent. From short boards to longboards, in different shapes and in different materials. You’re welcome to come to our surf shop and check them out!

We don’t rent soft boards / foamies in our surf shop, we only have them for our surf school, because we are convinced that the best way to learn surfing and improve your tecnique is with a professional surf coach. Even up to advanced level!

Yes we can do repairs for surf boards and wetsuits. Just pass by and ask in our shop, we’ll fix it for you!

Usually we are open from 9am to 9pm every day, Fridays we usually open around 2pm due to the friday prayer. Sometimes the opening hours can vary a bit.
